Our company is engaged in the popularization of science and implements projects in two areas:
organizing on-site astronomical observations for amateurs (with the opportunity to see deep-space objects and the solar system)
and the creation of photo and video materials with a microscope for business clients, allowing them to clearly demonstrate the benefits of their products.
Due to the increasing volume of orders, we are expanding our staff and are seeking qualified specialists for the following positions:

1. Astronomer-engineer / Astronomical observation instructor
Tasks:
• Setting up and adjusting telescopes (Schmidt Cassegrains, Maksutov Cassegrains, Newtonians, refractors with adjusting cams) on-site at the client’s location.
• Minor repairs, adjustment of finders, additional equipment (selection of eyepieces for desired objects).
• Training for novice users to work with equatorial and azimuth mounts, setting up electronic telescopes with a remote control.
• Transfer of theoretical foundations of astronomy and conducting practical observations with the client.
Requirements:
• Based on the results of your work, the client should be able to independently point the mount at terrestrial and celestial objects, be able to focus and associatively represent the results of observations.
• Evening trips are possible (additional charge applies).

2. Visual Astronomer / EAA Specialist (Astrophotography)
Tasks:
• Conducting evening excursions to the starry sky with an emphasis on visual observations (Moon, planets, double and multiple stars, outside the city – globular and open clusters, bright nebulae and galaxies).
• For the EAA format – preparing the mount, setting up the “telescope + camera” combination and broadcasting the image to the screen during group excursions.
Requirements:
• Experience in visual observations, ability to quickly find objects from the Messier/Herschel catalogues in manual or automatic mode.
• Experience with SharpCap, ASIAIR or NINA is a plus
• Having a car is desirable (transportation costs will be reimbursed).

3. Astronomer-lecturer (lecturer-guide)
Tasks:
• Conducting 40-60 minute lectures before observations (for adults or children from 8 years old).
• A story about constellations, stellar physics, modern cosmology or rocket science.
• Adaptation of complex material for an unprepared audience.
Requirements:
• Higher specialized education (senior students of the Physics Department/ASU, ASU teachers will be considered).
• Public speaking skills, experience working with groups, ability to prepare lecture material and present it clearly.
• Having a car is welcome (transportation is compensated).

4. Microscopists-lecturers / Specialists in their fields
Tasks:
• Conducting interactive activities with microscopy in the field of materials science, microbiology, geology, cosmetics industry and others.
• Independent preparation of temporary and permanent micropreparations according to technical specifications.
• Connect the camera to the microscope and broadcast the image to a large screen in real time.
Requirements:
• Ability to work with samples in the field, skills in microphotography and coupling optics with digital cameras.
• Ability to inspect and document objects under study to clearly explain to the client what we observe under the microscope.
• Having your own equipment is a significant advantage, but we are also ready to provide our own fleet of equipment.
• Having a car is welcome (transportation is compensated).

General conditions for all positions:
• Payment is piecework.
• Transportation costs (including gasoline) are reimbursed.
